Telma › Texting
Your customers would rather text. Now your business can too.
Send and receive texts on the number your customers already know, as a team, from the computer or the phone. Add a button to your website that turns a visitor into a conversation.

What it fixes
"Customers text my employees' personal phones."
Everything goes through the business number. Every message shows who sent it, and when an employee leaves, the conversations stay.
"My office number can't receive texts."
Keep your number: we bring it over, texts included. Your customers don't change a thing.
"Website visitors leave without a trace."
The text button only asks for their cell number. Your welcome text goes out within a second.
"Nobody knows who answered what."
A shared inbox per team, open and closed conversations, and internal notes the customer never sees.
"Evening texts wake up the whole team."
Based on your business hours, the customer gets an automatic reply and the team a single notification when you open.
"A customer wrote STOP and we texted them again."
STOP, END and HELP are handled for you: Telma confirms and blocks any further texts to that number.
The text button for your website
Most visitors will never fill out a form or call. They will leave their cell number if you promise them a text right away. The visitor enters their number, gets your welcome message from the business number, and the conversation lands in your team like any other.
Choose the team that answers and the number that writes, write your welcome message in English and French, then paste one line of code on your site. The button follows the language of the page and only works on your sites.

Frequently asked questions
Can I keep my current number?
Yes. We bring it over, and it receives texts on top of calls. You can also pick a new local number.
Do my employees need to install an app?
No. Everything works in the browser. The iPhone and Android app is there for those who answer on the road.
What happens if a customer replies STOP?
Telma confirms the opt-out and blocks further texts to that number. They can come back by texting START.
Does it work with my CRM?
With GoHighLevel, directly. For the others, through webhooks and the API, documented on docs.telma.ca.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many people and numbers you have. Tell us about your needs and we'll suggest the right plan, with no commitment.
